The mainstream climate solution is reduced emissions. This is incorrect because it contradicts a foundational international agreement, ignores the temperature rise after emissions stop, disregards the duration of the temperature anomaly, addresses only a small fraction of this anomaly, fails to acknowledge the aerosol cooling effect, and dismisses the only feasible measure for global cooling: SRM.

Climate science tells the public several blatant falsehoods. I identify these and urge ethical climate scientists to split with the mainstream.

The goal of net-zero emissions, which is now being peddled by everyone from politicians to progressives to the Pope, is a travesty and a betrayal.

Climate scientists have done excellent problems research, but their solutions analysis is invalidated by massive distortions. Here I discuss the most significant of these.

There are no valid arguments against geoengineering in principle – our survival depends on it. Valid concerns do exist, but these establish the conditions for its implementation.

Emissions reductions can slow and eventually stop global warming, but only geoengineering methods can reverse it by restoring the Earth’s energy balance.

A tipping point is reached when environmental damage escalates rapidly; a point of no return is reached when human agency can no longer reverse the escalating damage.

Because of the emissions fallacy, the avoidance of population and consumption reductions, and restricted efficiency gains, current efforts to resolve the GHG crisis achieve essentially nothing.
